Ribbon Stick Kit
For colorful hand/arm coordination activities and for a good upper body arm and shoulder workout in stationary or spectacular dancing/marching routines, you can't beat these top quality Ribbon Sticks! Kit comes complete with 12 colorful enamelled 3/8" diameter 2 ft long hardwood dowels (3 red, 3 blue, 3 green and 3 yellow) along with 12 long flat plastic Tube Ribbons of four different colors, usually, red, yellow, green and blue, but they can vary. (If ribbons are too long, cut them shorter!)
Tube Ribbons are flat plastic tubes two inches wide by 12 ft long that stay flat as they wave gracefully in the air just like any other ribbon. Their double walled construction makes them extremely durable so that they won't run, fray or easily rip or tear as other ribbons can do. Plus their rounded edges won't ever give you paper cuts like the thin edges of some other ribbons can.
Each ribbon has a hole in the end and all you do is put the stick through the hole & slide one, 2, 12 or more ribbons up the stick to the wood bead at the top! The ribbons stay up at the top with swivel action because of the tension exerted on the stick from the double-walled construction of each ribbon and by the centrifugal force you generate as you wave the stick!
And, as an added bonus with this unique stick design: if you want to use your own ribbons, just put a hole in them or tie them around the stick! It's that easy! No need for any type of attachment device!
